Based in Frome in Somerset, England, J W Singer has grown to become the largest manufacturer of brass high-pressure diecast sprinkler frames in the world. Using the skill of our design engineers we can offer a full design service to meet any sprinkler frame requirement.

J W Singer has a fully self sufficient tool room, which manufactures all of the steel dies and consumable items for the diecasting process.

More information can be found in the Engineering design section.

J W Singer uses Idra and Maico diecasting machines to manufacture all of their sprinkler frames. The company currently has seven diecasting machines ranging in size from 420 tonnes locking force to 560 tonnes locking force.
All of the components produced are trimmed and cleaned prior to inspection and packing. More information can be found in the High-pressure diecasting section.

The surface finish of a high-pressure diecasting is very smooth and clean. J W Singer clean their castings with a shot tumbled finish, which leaves the surface ready for machining, plating or powder coat painting. J W Singer doesn’t have an in house machining or plating facility but we can offer these operations through sub-contract machining or plating companies in the UK. More information can be found in the Finishing and machining section.
