Founded by John Webb Singer in 1847 and located in the market town of Frome in Somerset, England, J W Singer use the high pressure diecasting process to cast fire protection sprinkler bodies in brass.

J W Singer has a long and varied history. The company was founded more than 150 years ago and until the early 1900's was producing statues which were transported all over the world. Some of the more notable being the Scales of Justice over the Old Bailey and Boadicea on Westminster Bridge.
